Rab Women’s Social : BUK Outdoor Bouldering

This day is for attendees of the Rab women’s social at Boulder UK, who boulder regularly indoors. You will ideally climb at least V3 indoors to get the most out of the day, but the boulder venues will have a variety of grades to suit everyone.

The workshop is predominantly for adults, but keen beans aged 14 or over are welcome to attend with a parent/guardian.

There will be a supportive, fun group environment, and the day will be suitable for a variety of grades.

Where?

This day will run in the Lake District, 1 hour and 20 minutes drive from BUK. We will let participants know exactly where to meet via email during the week before. You’ll need your own transport, but we’ll encourage people to arrange car shares with other participants.

What if it rains?!

We sometimes vary the location to pick the best forecast but we will contact all participants with final details beforehand.

There are some sheltered options nearby if it’s bad weather, and Esther has a whole host of outdoor skills and tactics that we can still cover outdoors even if there’s a few showers! Very occasionally we might do half the day indoors if that’s more beneficial, but we will aim to make the day happen outdoors.
